When in Scotland this week I visited Douglas my Rugby Club Prop from ShawlandsAcademyFPRFC and manager of RWStevens my Scottish Dress Hire Shop in Deanston Drive in the Southside of Glasgow, next door was Cheaper-Laptops and I was tempted to try the HP Compact tc1100 with Windows Vista Installed
So there it is in place Wifi I'm told but not yet connected however will let you know when I Post my next Blog comment from it hopefully all the best for now Friday 5th April 2013 time to start Gardening.
Lunch time and it works - I got asked for my BTHub Key number and it accepted that so obviously is Wifi and searched a few progs like Blogger and added a Norton Anti virus disc so just to get used to using the Pen on the touchscreen instead of a Mouse although a Pen is a bit like a Wireless Mouse I suppose. Well done HP Compact Comuters it's amazing. Sound speakers work no Web Cam although couls possibly connect one and still to check storage etc. Apparantly it will be good on the Couch brousing the internet.
The DVD goes in the base of the stand.
It has worked several nights in a row since bought not tried the DVD yet Tuesday 8th April, took the Tablet alone to work and it recognised the British Library Wifi signal in the UG Wifi Cafe but would not accept it as it was unsecure or asked for a Name to Connect to. So so far, so good an 11page technical Spec Downloaded will explain more of it.
