Budget Day 2013 - My day off with the PCS Union British Library London Branch.
Arrived at Waterloo Tabbard in my inside pocket and Walking Boots on Scarf and Hat - it was going to be a cold day and a Freezing Budget.
Target Main Staff Entrance to get flags and stickers and leaflets and be posted to a standing station.
Public respomse good many "well dones from the passing strangers" and "we're with you's from others".

All in all not a miners strike but a good view of what the Miners saw when they eventually arrived in London at Westminster's Houses of Parliament. We even had TV coverage from inside the House of the Budget - if the French Revolutionarys had had that TV coverage, at The Bastille, when they were fed cakes they would have been able to see them Baking The Cakes, in the Bastille Ovens from the outside.
In the Middle Ages Strikes were slightly different Sword Lance and Chain being used at the Joust to resolve issues http://maraishistorique-paris.eu/ this book explains some differences up until the Middle Ages in Paris but also mentions the Scottish Defeats at several battles of that Time relevant to the Marais area of Paris.
