B.L.O.G. - BRITISH LIBRAY'S ORIGONAL GOVERNOR - GEORGE III.- not !

George III was the owner of the :large Library given to The Nation.

40 Years ago the present Library was created from that under an Act of Parliament in the House of Lords.

However without George III and Lord Grenville his friend we would not know some peoples opinions.

Yes the Georgian Period in history spans 1714 - 1837 George I,II,III,IV,V,VI

The Main happenings - The Union of the Crowns 1707 & The Reform Act 1832.Ireland

Why mention it ? It is my job , I am lucky enough to wonder around beneath the passing Euston Road next to St Pancras railway Station,  in a maze of books, which are used as well as Researched, for the Source of Exhibitions held in The British Library.

This Blog, will take you past me in my workplace, in the Time Zone of the coming Exhibition of,  The Georgian Period.( no Starbucks then !) that, was Propaganda.

There was Pizza however although not Pizza Express, there was also Travel Agents - The Grand Tour was one form of that shop. Xmas  I'm quite sure existed, this is Xmas 2012 outside The British Library.

This was next door as we moved in.

This wad Grorge Bush visiting Buckingham Palace.

huge trucks now crawl past the Library on Euston Road.

If only the truckers could stop for their tea here courtesy of Peyton and Byrne.

 Highland Clearances

Clearing the Highlands of people and farming the Sheep takes the Georgian period over to where they the people were cleared to, and our families  latest addition there will need his woolly mits.

Prudential Free Cycle Ride London 2013

My Tee Shirt Caption Tee Shirt arrived today, so my journey to Gasgow had been extra fruitfull. I used the tall escalator in Buchanan Street up into the Gallaria and they found for me, the Kings Street, Kings Court Tee Shirt Caption printers through an Art Gallery on the Second Floor, which houses Art Works by Glasgow Artists very good  they are too - no Archie Forest though.

YELLOW I chose for the Tee Shirt, to remind me off my friend Isabell who lived along the road in Glasgow, from me when i took out my Prudential Whole Life Insurance Policy in Glasgow in 1967, in Tantallon Road, I was 16 years old Isabell had disappeared many years before although we had been friends at Primary School for 6 years. I wonder where she went? Hmmmmmm?

THE Tee Shirt has Electric Cycle Hire, Sun Pub, on the back and Prudential on the Front. The pub
is in Englefield Green

PERHAPS one day I can hire one and Cycle Electrically round Virginia Water Lake.

Once the Tee Shirt arrived I tried it for size, and honestly could not believe my eyes,
The size was perfect and although I'll be hectic,
I can only recommend my choice of bike Tic Click.

We now need extra Tee Shirts like this in different colours so it is back to the Shop in Glasgow king Street 8 Kings Court. hopefully they kept the images for extra orders.

So with injury present it was not the best Route for me my Physio said give a Bike a go and see how a long time in the saddle feels but not recommended just now.
