This Third time was SWT Reading line to Waterloo, London then Eurostar to Paris Gare - Du Nord 2003.
Hot day, long walk and good meal in the evening, in a corner restaurant, in a small square in Marais, near Hotel Turenne - very nice, if you get a seat.
My friend Bruno Remy was writing a book about the Marais. The book was from the beginning of La Ville through to the Middle Ages and the History of Paris and has recently sent me the English shorter version - The Kings of the Marais by Bruno Remy.

My night at Loch Rannoch, at The Macdonald Hotel
THIS JOURNEY IS ON THE 40th ANNIVERSARY OF BAHRAIN RFC with whom I REUNITE by Proxy SINCE 1983/4 having played No.4,5,6,7 following a playing career with 1978/80 Weybridge Vandals RFC, 1969/78 Shawlands AcademyFPRFC,1963/69 Shawlands Academy RFC and rugby toured Hong Kong with Bahrain RFC, the reunion was held between 14th & 20th May see (www.bahrainrfc.com) other Rugby Sevens I played were Helensburgh,Hyndland and Stranraer Wigtonshire Sevens with Shawlands Acdademy and FP's in fact we won the Hyndland Sevens.
The Journey shows Seven Lochs and Rivers : Loch Faskally, Loch Tummel, Loch Rannoch ,Rivers Tummel, Gary, Tay and Glen Fincastle Burn. All Flows are Rannoch to Tay.
We set out from Glasgow, about 10.30 am travelling round the Glasgow Motorways and up the M80 towards Stirling eventually arriving at the Green Hotel Pitlochary in time for a Complimentary Coffee Tea and Cakes !
On turning around and going back for petrol into Pitlochary, I was glad my Skoda Superb had beeped a fuel stop and had not let me get stranded by chance, in the small petrol station at Kinloch Rannoch with no diesel.
My Skoda is available on Youtube at http://youtu.be/GdGmKLOsZYs and it has done well with it's new Diesel Emission filter and Senors replaced.

Chopsticks at the great hall in Marr Hall Bishopton Scotland
This is the second of two Pianos on which I play a short piece of Chopsticks.
It is a Yamaha baby grand and echos along the vast Hall.
I learned to play chopsticks when at Langside with some training from a Waverly Gardens by Queens Park, piano teacher.
My playing inspiration my sister Linda and the late Eunice Harris of Fernbank Avenue, Sudberry Hill, Greenford Middlesex was the duet with Jean McDonald my Mum They both went to Wembley Grammer before the second world war and enjoyed meeting up on our Piano in Tantallon Road in Shawlands for a Plonking session of,
Run Rabbit Run and Kiss Me Goodnight Seargent Major, bothMusic Sheets kept flat until the Piano Stool was rummaged.
So here goes just a quick unpractised attempt due to laptop being new and a Piano being handy !
The first Piano I Blogged on Blogian was found in the Taybank Dnkeld which looked more like ours in Tantallon Road an Upright . I also played a Piano at my Grandmothers in Hampden
